Goal: Migrate content from old to new help desk

Process

• Login to help scout
• Click on docs on the top nav. drop down will appear. click on help

• Go through all 83 articles and copy and paste. Make sure you also remember the categories each article is in

• click into an article to see the title and body of each article

  

  • log into intercom

  • click on the book icon on the left

    

    • add new article button on the top right

      

      • paste title and body into the article (if there is an image from the helpscout article, take a screenshot and put it into the article)
      • Click publish

      

      • once published, there are 2 ways to put the article into the right collection

        • article page → gear icon → collection dropdown → choose

          

        • Go to collections → under the collection name → click on the plus add link on the very right
